For the law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ

In Person Sunday Service, May 10th

Dear Saints,

Greetings in The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ.

As many of you may know, Indiana has just begun to relax some of the stay at home restrictions. Starting on Sunday, May 10th, we will be able to have in person services again. Praise The Lord!!! This will not be without some restrictions, but I’m thankful for what we will be able to do.

We will continue to follow the State and CDC guidelines, practice social distancing (6 feet).  This means no hand shaking, hugs etc., I know this will be hard  but we must respect everyone’s space and we must be patient with those that might forget. Please stay home if you do not feel well.  If you have a condition that makes you more susceptible as outlined by the CDC,  use wisdom, you know your body better than anyone, and if you do venture out, you must take personal responsibility. If we all do our best to protect ourselves and those around us, I believe God will do the rest!

The following are a  few of the new procedures we will be putting into place in order to comply with social distancing.

There will be a new seating arrangement with wider aisles and households will need to sit together.

The entry doors will be propped open to avoid contact with the door handles.

No congregating in the back or in the foyer. If you want to talk to someone, stay outside and maintain a safe distance.  Upon dismissal please exit the building and any socializing to take place outdoors.

Wear a mask as you enter the building and until you reach your seat. We have ordered mask to be placed in the foyer, they should arrive prior to Sunday, but if you have your own, please bring it. Once you are seated, you may remove your mask if you choose to do so.  Upon leaving your seat for the restroom or other reasons, please wear your mask.

We have hand sanitizer but not nearly enough. We are searching for more but if you have a small personal bottle of your own you may want to bring it.

The Sisters will enter the restroom from the nursery room door and the Brothers will access theirs from the hallway. This will cut down on the traffic in the narrow hallway. We also should limit how many can be in the restrooms at a time.

We will have small water bottles in the back of the church to again cut down on the traffic in the hallway.

Until we see how all this will work, we will limit in person services to Sunday and will have an internet service on Wednesday. I’m sure we will have to make adjustments as we go along and I realize it won’t be the same, but let us be thankful for what we can do and believe God to open things up completely very soon.

God bless,

Bro Tim
